Shipping and Delivery
Shipping Process: After I receive your order, it will take about 4~7 business days to ship your order. However, since I operate my shop and do everything related while working part-time, it might take longer depending on my schedule. In that case, I will announce it on my website or Instagram.
Shipping Options: I currently send via Japan Post to ship all my products. Depending on the weight of your order, there will be 1 ~ 5 types of shipping options.
- “Letter mail” No tracking or insurance for lost or damaged items. The shipping will take about 10~20 days, depending on where you live.
- “Small Package” No tracking, no insurance for lost or damaged items.
- “Standard” With tracking, no insurance for lost or damaged items. The shipping will take about 5~18 days, depending on where you live.
- “Express” With tracking and insurance. As the name explains, it is the fastest way to get your package out of all the options. The shipping will take about 3~18 days, depending on where you live.
- “Sea Mail” No tracking, no insurance for lost or damaged items. The slowest option out of the shipping options. It will take about 2~4 months to get to you.
Why is the “Express” shipping cheaper than the “Standard” shipping? : Sometimes, the “Express” option might be cheaper than the “Standard” or other shipping options. This is because Japan Post sets its shipping costs with different weight ranges for these two options. So if you see that the “Express” option is cheaper, I recommend you choose that option to have tracking and insurance.
International Shipping: I ship to all locations that Japan Post sends to. Please check the Japan Post website to see if they send to your country. Please note I am not responsible for any Import Taxes or Duties that may apply to International orders.
Lost or damaged package: If you ordered with the “Express” shipping option and you think your order has been lost or you received a damaged package, please feel free to contact me with your order number, name, and photos of your package. I will be happy to help you. If you have chosen other options, unfortunately, there is no way to get any response from the postal service. However, please do not hesitate to contact me for assistance.
***Although the “Express” option has insurance for these occasions, I cannot guarantee that the insurance will be approved. I will do my best to help you out, and although I put my heart into my products, I cannot control anything after the order has been sent. Please know that for all shipping options, I am not able to give you a refund or exchange. Returning the item is also unavailable. Thank you for your understanding.
Order
Order Process: Order confirmation -> Packing -> Ship with the selected option -> Sent to your location
Canceling Order: Unfortunately, I cannot cancel any order after you have made your payment.
Wrong address: Please contact me IMMEDIATELY at dear.myskies@gmail.com with your correct address.
If your order has not been processed yet, I will change the address to the correct one. However, if your order has been sent, I would have to ask you to solve it yourself since I cannot do anything at this point. If the address does not exist, I might get your order back, and then we can figure out a way to get it to you properly.
Please double-check your address when ordering. Do not hesitate to contact me, since I’ve sent my package to a non-existent address before as well.
Returns, Exchange, and Refund
Return, exchange, and refund request: Unfortunately, I cannot exchange or refund any product after you have made your payment. In addition, you cannot return your order.
Wrong Item: If you received the wrong item, please contact me at dear.myskies@gmail.com with your order number, name, and photos of what you received. I apologize for your inconvenience and I will be happy to resolve the problem.
Unsatisfied with the product: Unfortunately, I am unable to respond to any message regarding this topic. Please understand that each product might be slightly different from the photo you see on my website. Everything comes out differently and I believe that's the part of beauty in art.
Sustainability
At dear.my skies, I am doing my best to reduce plastic waste. I use boxes and cushioning materials made from recycled and non-plastic materials and I also re-use packaging materials.
If I ever do use a plastic material, it's most likely from a previous package that I received.
I am actively finding a way to make my business more sustainable.
Caring for Ceramics
My ceramics are made from “half porcelain and half earthenware” clay. It has a smooth surface like porcelain, but has the strengths of earthenware. You can use them in the microwave and dishwasher, but I recommend you not to use them in the dishwasher and to wash them by hand. You cannot use them in the oven or in contact with direct heat.
Since the clay does not absorb water as much, you do not need to do anything when you first use the product.
However, make sure to wash them well after using and dry them well to prevent getting mold, stains, smell, or cracks on your ceramics!
Product Availability
How many stocks do you have for each item? : The number of stock(s) available will be written in the description of the product. I will also announce them on Instagram before they go on sale. Most of the time, for the ceramics, I only have one per product.
When will sold-out products be restocked? : There is a high chance I will not make the exact same product again. However, if there are any requests, I will be happy to make them again!!!
